Sir Bobby Charlton is a legend of the game; Charlton was an England national player who played for the English club Manchester United. Sir Bobby was known for his attacking play and his success for both club and national team. For Manchester United, Sir Bobby won a UEFA best player in the world, a Champions League cup, an FA cup, and 3 English Leagues. For England he was an important player for the national team when they won the World Cup of 1966, this year he also won the Ballon D’or. Sir Bobby Charlton is now a board member at his old club Manchester United.

George best was a great player in his time. George Best played for the English club Manchester United and was a Northern Ireland national team player. Cruyff played for the Dutch club Ajax and the Spanish club FC Barcelona, he also played for the Dutch national team. With Ajax he lead them to many awards such as 3 Champions League Cups, 6 Dutch Cups, 1 Intercontinental Cup, 1 UEFA Super Cup, and 9 Dutch leagues. For FC Barcelona, Cruyff won a Spanish league and a Spanish Cup; he also won 3 UEFA best player in Europe awards. Johan Cruyff was known for his brilliant skill and his goal scoring ability; Cruyff has his own skill move named after him called the Cruyff turn.

Diego Maradona is a widely known legend of the sport, he is an easily angered player so there are definitely people that don’t like him, but there is no doubt he is one of the best legends to ever play. Maradona played for the Argentina national team, the Italian club Napoli, and the Spanish club FC Barcelona. 1. Edson Arantes do Nascimento (Pele)


Edson Arantes do Nascimento, also known as Pele, is one of the most well known players to ever play. Pele was a Brazilian national team player who played for the Brazilian club Santos FC and the American club New York Cosmos. Pele had the ability to lead his teams to many awards, for Santos FC he won 6 Brazilian leagues, 2 Intercontinental Cups, and 2 Copa Libertadores Cups, and for New York Cosmos he won 1 NASL soccer league. Pele was most known for his ability to lead his country of Brazil to 3 World Cups with his natural ability to dribble skillfully and prolifically score goals. One thing that makes Pele a legend is the fact that he led his country to their first World Cup when he was just 17 years of age; Pele has been an amazing player ever since he was a kid and once he started, he never stopped. Pele has been and will always be seen as one of the greatest legends to ever play this sport.
